Map each lens brand's real catalog once in a dedicated Lens Options popup — activate only the brands you buy from, clone a catalog between brands, import a starter template (ABLENS, Zeiss, Essilor, Hoya…), then edit every variant (coating × type × index × tint) to create any combination, with bulk edit/delete and conflict detection. Invoicing starts from the brand: each pick narrows the next list to what that brand actually sells. Templates load without prices — set an optional fixed price per variant and it fills the invoice automatically (with a "From catalog" badge). Inventory lenses carry the same tint, follow the brand's catalog options, and flag price mismatches — filter stock by tint to match the shelves to your catalog.

Absolutely! The Basic plan is completely free forever, giving you access to all essential features including patient search, inventory management, dark/light mode, and up to 100 invoices per month.

Does Visilion work on both Windows and Mac?

Yes! Visilion is built with Electron, so it works perfectly on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The interface is identical across all platforms for a consistent experience.

Is my data secure with Visilion?

Your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite, so you have complete control and ownership. We never send your patient or business data to external servers. You can also backup and restore your data using .sqlite files.

Can I import my existing patient data?

Yes! Visilion supports importing data through SQLite backup files. If you're migrating from another system, contact our support team for assistance with data migration.

What kind of support do you offer?

Yes. Every inventory item can carry a Code128 barcode that is auto-generated or manually entered. Find items instantly with a USB barcode scanner or your phone camera, and print price/barcode labels for one item or a batch with size presets (40×20, 50×25, 60×40 mm).

Does Visilion include lab order management?

Yes. The Tasks board turns every lens invoice into a Lab Job Card tracked on a kanban board. Register your lens companies with WhatsApp/email contact, then dispatch job cards via WhatsApp, email, copy, or PDF — single or bulk. Orders flow Draft → Sent → In Lab → Ready → Picked Up.

How fast is invoice printing?

Almost instant. Invoices are pre-rendered in a background window and spooled directly to the printer through a native GDI pipeline — typically under a second, with automatic fallback to fast PDF spooling and built-in printing.

Can I back up and restore my data?

Yes. Backup & Restore uses .sqlite database files only. You can schedule automatic backups, keep the 14 most recent files, restore on any machine, and your data never leaves your computer.
